Tag Filter Rules

Filter rules control which items are displayed in a list (board). They consist of two dimensions:

  • Tag filter: Show only items that match the specified tag(s)
  • Status filter: Show or hide completed items

A tag filter rule determines which todos or sticky notes appear in a list based on their assigned tags. Lists are tag-based filters — they do not store items directly; they display items whose tags match the filter rule.

When multiple tags are set in a filter rule, the logic is OR — an item will appear if it has any of the specified tags.

Examples:

Filter RuleDisplayed Items
Tag = WorkOnly items tagged “Work”
Tag = Work OR ImportantItems tagged “Work” or “Important” (or both)

Paths:

  • PC: Desktop widget top-right SettingsList Settings → Set tag filter rules
  • App: MyTodo/Sticky Note List → Select a list → Set filter rules

This setting controls whether completed items appear in the list.
