Operations Cheatsheet

YYNote’s operations are intuitive — tap empty space to create, tap content to edit. Below are all operations for PC desktop widgets and the App.

Applies to the Windows desktop widget version.

Click Empty Area → Create

Click an empty area in a desktop widget to quickly create new content.

Type content directly after creating, press Enter to save.

Click Content → Edit / Complete

Click todo text or note content → Enter edit mode
Click the dot before a todo → Toggle complete / incomplete

Hover over an item to reveal a floating toolbar: Complete, Pin, Edit, Delete, etc. The sticky note toolbar also includes an archive option.

Double-Click → Archive (sticky notes only)

Double-clicking a sticky note can directly archive it. Archived content can be viewed from the archive entry; double-click again to restore. Todos do not have an archive function.

Right-click an item to see all available actions: Complete, Edit, Delete, Pin, etc.

The top-left menu button lets you quickly switch: Todo List / Sticky Notes / Schedule / Countdown.

The top-right menu includes: Widget settings (transparency, display style), Manual sync, Open App Settings.

System Tray → Settings Center

Find the YYNote icon in the bottom-right system tray, right-click to access the full settings interface.

App Operations

Applies to Android / iOS / HarmonyOS apps.

Tap Empty Area → Add

Tap an empty area on any list page to quickly add an item.

Automatically enters edit mode after adding. Type content and tap Save.

Tap Content → Edit

Tap existing content to enter edit mode. Modify and save.

Long Press → More Actions

Long-press an item to bring up the action menu: Complete, Delete, Sort, etc. Not sure what an item can do? Long-press it.

Swipe Left-to-Right → Archive (sticky notes only) / Restore

Swipe from the left side of a sticky note to archive it. In the archive page, swipe left-to-right on a note to restore it. Todos do not support archiving.

Swipe Right-to-Left → Pin / Delete

Swipe from the right side of an item to reveal: Pin/Unpin, Delete.

Drag to Sort

Long-press an item → select Sort → drag the sort icon on the right → Save.
