Weather Widget

The Desktop Weather widget displays real-time weather for your current city directly on the Windows desktop, along with the current time, date, and lunar calendar (“Weather + Time” is a single integrated desktop widget).

  • New users get a 7-day free membership trial upon registration. Weather data is fetched and displayed normally while the membership is active
  • After membership expires, weather data stops refreshing and an upgrade prompt appears on the desktop
  • Disabled by default on first install: you need to manually enable “Weather Time Widget” in settings
  • Windows 10+ only: systems below Windows 10 do not show the weather toggle

Includes: current time, current temperature (°C), temperature range, weather text description (sunny/cloudy/overcast, etc.), weather icon, and lunar calendar date. It appears near the top-left corner of the screen by default and stays wherever you drag it. Time, date, and lunar calendar display normally regardless of membership status.

The “Control Bar Area” in the lower half of the widget automatically rotates two types of information (switching every 5 seconds):

  • Weather Summary: A brief text description of the current weather

  • Weather Alerts: Official alerts issued by agencies such as the National Alert Information Center

  • A single alert displays as static text; multiple alerts rotate at 5 seconds each

  • Click an alert → a Weather Alert popup opens, showing the alert title, issuing agency, issue time, and details
