Installation and Uninstall Issues

Cause: Corporate computers often use domain accounts, and IT teams restrict software installation to protect network security.

Solution:

  1. Contact your company’s IT team (desktop support team) to assist with installation
  2. Or request system administrator privileges from your IT team to install the software

Cannot Install (Personal Computer with Error)

If you see an error popup during installation, take a screenshot and send it to service@yynote.cn. A support team member will follow up to help resolve the issue.


  1. Find the YYNote folder in the Start Menu
  2. Select “Uninstall”
  1. Go to StartSettingsAppsInstalled Apps
  2. Find YYNote, click the ... on the right
  3. Select “Uninstall”

If you want to ensure a completely clean uninstall:

  • Manually delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\YYNote folder
  • Open My Documents → delete the YYNote folder (clears local data)

⚠️ Deleting the YYNote folder in My Documents clears local cache and settings, but your cloud account data is safe. It will sync back after you reinstall and sign in.
