Installation and Uninstall Issues
Section titled “Installation and Uninstall Issues”Cannot Install (Corporate Computer)
Section titled “Cannot Install (Corporate Computer)”Cause: Corporate computers often use domain accounts, and IT teams restrict software installation to protect network security.
Solution:
- Contact your company’s IT team (desktop support team) to assist with installation
- Or request system administrator privileges from your IT team to install the software
Cannot Install (Personal Computer with Error)
Section titled “Cannot Install (Personal Computer with Error)”If you see an error popup during installation, take a screenshot and send it to service@yynote.cn. A support team member will follow up to help resolve the issue.
Uninstall Methods
Section titled “Uninstall Methods”Method 1: Start Menu
Section titled “Method 1: Start Menu”- Find the YYNote folder in the Start Menu
- Select “Uninstall”
Method 2: System Settings
Section titled “Method 2: System Settings”- Go to
Start→Settings→Apps→Installed Apps - Find YYNote, click the
...on the right - Select “Uninstall”
Optional: Clean Up Residual Files
Section titled “Optional: Clean Up Residual Files”If you want to ensure a completely clean uninstall:
- Manually delete the
C:\Program Files (x86)\YYNotefolder - Open
My Documents→ delete theYYNotefolder (clears local data)
⚠️ Deleting the
YYNotefolder in My Documents clears local cache and settings, but your cloud account data is safe. It will sync back after you reinstall and sign in.
