Desktop Sticky Notes
Section titled “Desktop Sticky Notes”Overview
Section titled “Overview”Desktop Sticky Notes is a lightweight text recording tool from Yellow Note, designed for jotting down ideas, memos, and quick notes on the fly.

- Transparent overlay embedded on desktop, visible on startup

- Date-based archiving, one-click export
- Category tags for organization
Full Platform Support: Sticky notes are available as a desktop plugin on Windows, Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS (iOS does not support transparency). On Windows, they appear as transparent floating windows embedded into the desktop. On mobile, they work as home screen widgets. Visible on startup (Windows requires auto-start to be enabled).

Creating a Sticky Note
Section titled “Creating a Sticky Note”Windows Desktop Plugin:
- Click a blank area inside the desktop sticky notes plugin
- Type directly and press Enter to save
App (Android / iOS / HarmonyOS):
- In the sticky notes list, touch a blank area to enter input mode directly
- On the home screen widget, tap the
+button to create a new note

Editing and Deleting
Section titled “Editing and Deleting”Edit: Click an existing note to enter edit mode, modify the content, and save.
Delete: Swipe left on a note (App) or hover your mouse over it (PC) and use the floating toolbar to delete.
⚠️ Deletion is irreversible. Deleted notes cannot be recovered from the archive.
Pin to Top and Reorder
Section titled “Pin to Top and Reorder”- Pin to Top: Hover over a note and click the pin button on the floating toolbar. Pinned notes always appear first.
- Reorder: Drag the dot handle at the front of a note to manually rearrange the order.
- Pinned and archived notes cannot be reordered.
Archive
Section titled “Archive”Archiving is a manual operation — there is no auto-archive mechanism.
- Hover over a note (PC) and select Archive from the floating toolbar, or swipe left (App) and choose Archive.
- Archived notes are removed from the main list but remain in the archive area and can be restored at any time.
Viewing the Archive: Scroll to the bottom of the notes list and tap the archive entry point.
Why Archive: Keep your main list clean while preserving data you want to keep but don’t need to see every day.
Category Tags
Section titled “Category Tags”Sticky notes support category tags for filtering and organization.
Managing Tags:

My→Category Tags
Auto-tagging: In the sticky notes list settings, you can configure tag filtering rules. When a new note is created inside a specific list, it automatically inherits that list’s tag.

Appearance Settings (Windows)
Section titled “Appearance Settings (Windows)”The desktop sticky notes plugin supports rich appearance customization:
- Opacity: Adjust note background transparency, 0%–100%
- Background Color: Customize the note background color
- Font Size: Adjust text size inside notes
- Font Color: Customize text color
- Margin / Line Spacing: Adjust layout spacing
Settings Path: Desktop sticky notes plugin top-right corner → Settings → Plugin Settings
Data Export
Section titled “Data Export”PC supports exporting all sticky notes data (including deleted entries).
Path: Main interface bottom toolbar → Export / Export Deleted Records
