Auto Start Settings
Section titled “Auto Start Settings”Feature Overview
Section titled “Feature Overview”When enabled, Yellow Sticky Notes (Xiao Huang Tiao) will launch automatically whenever you log into Windows. The desktop widgets will appear as soon as the application starts.
How to Enable
Section titled “How to Enable”- Find the Yellow Sticky Notes tray icon in the Windows system tray (bottom-right corner of the taskbar)
- Right-click the tray icon → select
Settings - In the settings window, find the Auto start on boot option and toggle it on
ℹ️ Auto start is implemented by creating a user-level startup entry. No administrator privileges are required.
Troubleshooting: Not Starting on Boot
Section titled “Troubleshooting: Not Starting on Boot”If you enabled auto start but the application does not launch after restarting your computer:
- Check whether security software (e.g. 360 Safe Guard, Tencent PC Manager) is blocking Yellow Sticky Notes’ startup entry
- Try adding Yellow Sticky Notes to the whitelist in your security software
Some third-party antivirus or optimization tools may also clear startup entries — check those as well.
