Privacy & Hide Settings

Desktop widgets can display visible content such as todo items and sticky notes. Several privacy protection methods are available to prevent others from seeing your content when you step away or do not wish to be seen.

Set widgets to automatically hide when they are moved close to the screen edge.

Path: Hover over the desktop widget → top-right corner toolbar → Settings → Enable edge hiding

When enabled, moving the widget to the edge of the screen will cause it to slide out of view. Move your mouse to the edge to reveal it again.

Press a configurable keyboard shortcut to instantly hide all desktop widgets.

The specific shortcut key can be viewed and customized in the Settings.

This is the quickest way to hide your content — useful when someone approaches your desk unexpectedly.

If you don’t need the widgets for a while, you can completely close them by setting their count to 0.

Path: Settings (right-click tray icon) → App Settings → Set the corresponding widget count slider to 0

💡 Unlike edge hiding or shortcut hiding, closing widgets removes them from the desktop entirely. Re-enable them anytime by setting the count back above 0.
