Account Login Details

YYNote supports the following login/registration methods:

Login MethodDescriptionRegister New AccountBind to Existing Account
WeChatScan QR code to authorize
QQScan QR code to authorize
GoogleGoogle account authorization
AppleApple ID authorization (iOS/HarmonyOS)
HuaweiHuawei account authorization
MicrosoftMicrosoft account authorization✅ (via Settings on each platform)

⚠️ Important: Each login method creates an independent account — data is not shared between them. For example, WeChat login and QQ login are two different accounts.

💡 Microsoft Account: You can bind a Microsoft account to an existing account via Settings on any platform, or use it to register a new account.

⚠️ Important: The six methods above are separate accounts — data is not interoperable. For example, WeChat login and QQ login are different accounts.

YYNote uses a UNID (User Unique Identifier) to bind accounts. The same OAuth account on different devices will automatically bind to the same account, and data syncs seamlessly.

Example: Log in with WeChat on your phone → account is created. Log in with the same WeChat on your computer → it automatically binds to the same account on your phone, and your todo data is identical.

Note: Different OAuth methods (e.g., WeChat vs. QQ) are still different accounts — data is not shared.

You can be logged in on multiple devices at the same time. Data syncs in real time after login.

Important: Different Login Methods = Different Accounts

Section titled “Important: Different Login Methods = Different Accounts”

⚠️ WeChat, QQ, Google, Apple, Huawei, and Microsoft — each login method is a completely independent account. Data is not shared between them.

Recommended approach: Choose one primary login method, then bind other methods to merge them into the same account.

After binding, a single account can be accessed using multiple login methods, with fully synced data.

How to bind: SettingsAccount ManagementBind Other Accounts → Choose the login method to bind

Binding rules:

  • The same login method cannot be bound twice (if it is already bound to another account, it cannot be bound again)
  • After unbinding, that login method returns to a free state and can be used to log into or register a new account

Example:

  • Log in with WeChat → Account A
  • Bind QQ in Account A → After that, logging in with QQ also enters Account A, with the same data as WeChat login

If you log in and find your data is empty, it means you logged into a different account.

How to switch: Sign out of the current account → Switch login method → Sign in again → Find your previous account
