What are Windows Desktop Sticky Notes

Windows desktop sticky notes are notes that cling to your Windows desktop — fully transparent, auto-start on boot, always visible.

Windows comes with a built-in Sticky Notes app, but it cannot embed transparently over your wallpaper or sync across devices. YYNote fills that gap.

How to Download YYNote for Windows

Option 1: Official Website (Recommended)

1. Visit YYNote.net
2. Go to the Download & Install page
3. Select Windows version and download
4. Run the installer and follow the prompts

Option 2: Direct Download Link

If you have a direct download link, click the .exe installer and follow the installation wizard.

First-Time Setup After Installation

1. Register and Sign In

• Open YYNote on first launch
• Register with email, or sign in with WeChat/QQ/Google/Apple/Huawei/Microsoft
• Your data syncs to cloud automatically after sign-in

2. Create Your First Sticky Note

1. Click the system tray icon or desktop widget
2. Click New Sticky Note
3. Type your content
4. The note auto-sticks to your desktop, transparent

3. Adjust Transparency

1. Right-click the note
2. Select Transparency
3. Drag the slider to your preferred level (recommended: 50%-70%)

4. Position the Note

• Drag the note to a corner of your screen (recommended: bottom-right or top-left)
• YYNote remembers the position — it stays there after every restart
