Desktop Widgets 101

The key feature of YYNote on Windows: fully transparent desktop widgets that embed behind your wallpaper, stay out of your taskbar, and are visible at startup.

Open Desktop Widgets

Click the system tray icon Find the YYNote icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner). Double-click or right-click → “Show Desktop Widgets.”
Choose which widgets to show In widget settings, select which modules to display: Sticky Notes / Todo / Calendar / Weather.
Widgets embed into the desktop Selected modules appear as transparent floating windows, layered behind your wallpaper.

Resize & Reposition

Drag the title bar → move widget
Drag the edges → resize widget
Double-click title bar → expand/collapse

Operate Directly on Desktop

The desktop todo widget supports direct operations:

Click blank area → new todo
Click the circle → mark complete
Click the text → edit
Right-click → pin, delete, set reminder

Manage Multiple Widgets

Settings → Desktop Widget Management lets you:

Toggle each module on/off
Adjust widget stacking order
Set always-on-top
Enable auto-show at startup
