How to Set a Recurring Todo

1. Create or edit a todo
2. Find the “Repeat” setting
3. Choose a repeat frequency

• Daily: Every day, every N days
• Weekly: Specific day(s) of the week (e.g., every Friday)
• Monthly: Specific day of the month (e.g., every 1st)
• Yearly: Specific date (e.g., every May 20th)

How Recurring Todos Work

A recurring todo is a rule — it does not generate many instances at once.

The system checks whether a rule should fire when the client starts up, and automatically generates a new todo when triggered. The benefit is that it won’t suddenly create a large number of todos during periods when you’re not actively using the app.

Recurring todos are managed as separate rules, not as individual task instances.
