You use a notes app on your phone. You jot down ideas, reminders, and quick thoughts throughout the day — during commute, in meetings, when inspiration strikes. But when you sit at your computer to reference those notes, they’re stuck on your phone. You forget what you wrote. You end up emailing yourself links. You lose context.

The problem is simple: your notes are on one device, but your work happens on another.

YYNote solves this by letting you put your sticky notes directly on your desktop — visible at all times, synced across all your devices. Here’s how to move your notes from your phone to your computer screen.

Phone notes have a visibility problem. Your phone is in your pocket, face-down on your desk, or across the room. When you’re working on your computer, your notes are out of sight — and out of mind.

Paper sticky notes have a physical problem. They fall off monitors. They get knocked off desks. They fade in sunlight. And when you close your laptop, they’re trapped inside — invisible until you open the laptop again.

YYNote puts notes on your wallpaper, where they belong. Your sticky notes appear as a transparent floating panel directly on your desktop. No phone to reach for, no paper to manage. When you glance at your screen, your notes are right there — floating on your wallpaper.

Archive without deleting means you can keep important notes for reference without cluttering your active view. Everything stays organized and searchable.

Auto-tagging automatically categorizes your notes so you don’t have to manually sort through them later. Find any note in seconds, even after months.

Full sync across devices keeps your notes lightweight and accessible on Windows, Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS. Write a note on your phone and see it on your desktop moments later.

Step 1: Download and install YYNote

Visit the official website and download the Windows client. Run the installer and follow the prompts. Launch the application and create an account using your phone number. Your data syncs automatically to the cloud.

Step 2: Configure Desktop Widget Quantity

Right-click the YYNote tray icon in your system tray. Select “App Settings.” Find the “Desktop Widget Quantity” option and set it to 1 or higher. This tells YYNote how many desktop widgets to display.

Step 3: Switch to Sticky Notes

Look for the widget on your desktop. Click the module switcher (usually in the top-left corner of the widget) and select “Sticky Notes.” Your sticky note list now appears transparently on your wallpaper. Double-click the desktop to add new notes directly. Your phone notes sync automatically.
